MOODLE, HOSTED.

Two ways to host your Moodle with DK Labs. Spaces is managed hosting for your organisation's own Moodle. Nucleus is for one organisation that needs many Moodles, sharing courses from a hub. Both are hosted in London and run by DK Labs.

Managed Moodle hosting

SPACES, BY DK LABS

Your Moodle, hosted and looked after. DK Labs runs what it sits on: servers, databases, backups, Moodle upgrades and security. You run your Moodle: users, courses and content. Your site runs in London, and you can take a full copy of it whenever you like.

Security

Spaces

KEPT APART. KEPT CURRENT.

Most of the work in hosting is security, and it's the part you shouldn't have to think about. This is what it means for your site. How it's done stays private - that's part of it.

SeparateEach organisation's sites have their own database, their own storage and their own network rules. One site can't reach another.
EncryptedIn transit and at rest. HTTPS only, with older protocols refused.
Few handsOnly named DK Labs staff can reach the platform. Two-step sign-in is required, credentials are short-lived and every action is logged. Any change to who has access raises an alert straight away.
WatchedSecurity releases for PHP, Moodle and the platform's own software are watched around the clock, with an alert the moment one lands. Critical fixes go on fast.
Moodle, locked downMoodle runs without admin rights on the server. Settings that could run programs are locked, and no code is installed from inside Moodle.
ReviewedThe platform is reviewed for security regularly. The latest full review was in October 2026, and its findings are fixed.

21 OCTOBER 2026

A critical PHP flaw was announced. Sites went behind holding pages before a fix existed, and were on the fixed version the same day.

A written security and service policy is available to clients on request - ask for it.

Nucleus

Multi-tenant Moodle

NUCLEUS

For one organisation that needs many Moodles. A hub holds your shared courses, versioned, and each school, branch or partner gets a spoke: its own Moodle, with its own database, files and branding. Spokes take a new version of a course when it suits them, so nobody's course changes mid-term. Multi-tenant Moodle like this is still one of a kind.

Spaces plans are quoted, so it starts with a conversation: how many people use your Moodle, where it runs now, and what it needs to do. If Nucleus fits better, I'll say so.
